They arrive by car and are greeted by Lieutenant-General Sir John Monash. Hughes poses with Monash and his staff on the steps of the building before driving off to visit the troops. Cook is shown addressing one of the three bands of 200 selected soldiers (from 4th, 6th or 11th Brigade, all of which were visited) with Hughes and Monash looking on. II.
